For many, comfort in the routine of life is adequate. For some, that adequacy will never suffice. For the five members of the melodic hardcore band Day Two, comfort comes from an unconventional source. Drummer Matt Sweitzer says, "Being able to put all of our energy, feeling, and conviction into our live show is one of the most important things for us as a band. It's where I think we feel most comfortable as a band, sharing our music with other people." That comfort on stage often leads to a sight that only someone who has seen Day Two play can explain. Start with flailing guitars and screaming vocals, add the undeniable energy and emotion portrayed in the band's music and chaos is what ensuses on stage. |
