CD Review - The Great Kat - Wagner's War, 2/20/04

received this cd in the mail today. I'd like to tell you about a classy young lady who makes the guitar fuckin SMOKE!!!! She calls herself "The Great Kat." Come on guys how many Hot chicks are out there dripping with blood and can really play the guitar? Well you have just found one, go to www.greatkat.com and see for yourselves.

A little about Ms. Kat her real name is Katherine Thomas and she is a graduate of The Julliard School of Music and has re-created some of the great classical master pieces (of the likes of Beethoven, Wagner, Bach etc...) She is the one who made this classics into Master pieces not the stale old relics they were.

I don't listen to classical music, never have never will, that was until I received this cd. "Wagner's War" is definitely different than any album that I heard before. In a good way it is a mix of Classical speed metal with dark Death metal Vocals. A must for the person who thinks they have herd it all before. My favorite tracks were "WAR," "Terror" & "Humiliation" these 3 tracks definitely caught my ear and I was like wow. My brother-in-law was in the house and he was like what the fuck is that? I told him that's class and I am very pleased to now own this cd. The only short fall of The Great Kats music is the songs are very short, like under 2 minutes a piece. It left me starving for more. But that's what I think she about having people crave more.

From a 1 to 10 I give this cd a 10. She is that FUCKIN GOOD and she is that FUCKIN HOT!!! Her cd's are available threw her web site so go there and buy your parents one for Christmas. They surely won't invite you back next year.
