Paul McCartney @ Madison Square Garden - NYC 10/01/05

I saw Paul 3 years ago at the Garden so I couldn't wait for this show. I decided to splurge for this show and me and my wife stayed on Park Ave. for Friday and Saturday nights. We visited Strawberry Fields before the show and then a fucking awesome dinner a Smith & Wolenskis steak house. Then of course to the bar and off to the Garden. The show starts around 8:30pm with a movie a sort of Bio of Paul's complete life until this point in time. There was some real old footage of him and the Beatles first starting off.The movie last around 20 minutes. I am not going to go song by song as usual a complete set list will follow this review. At 64 years old Paul Fucking rocked the Garden. The energy he has is amazing, guys half is age don't show the stamina that he has tonight. The band plays a 3 1/2 hour set. The band comes and goes threw the show when Paul plays the piano or acoustic guitar, but Paul does not take a break at all until the first encore. This show was Fucking amazing. The sound, the sold out energy of the Garden was almost breathtaking. I can go on and on but won't. From a 1 to 10 this show gets a 10. Paul really seems to be have fun on this tour and it shows. His interacting with the crowd was classic. This may be one of the best shows I have ever saw by any artist. It was a very expensive weekend for me but it was worth every penny and then some. Heres the complete set list for the night. For those of you that missed the show you missed a life changing event for sure!!!
