Well its been 20 years since Motley Crue played the Garden and yes... I was there then and I was glad to be back tonight. The Garden was sold out and in rare form. You could fell the tension in the air, people were pounding the $8.00 beers like they were water. As 8:30 came closer the crowd got rowdier. Motley Crue decided not to tour with an opening act and it worked out for them well. At 8:25pm an animated cartoon movie of the boys started playing and it was definitely comical. Then a midget appears and opens a trunk on the stage and 2 stripers appear laying on the trunk and start going at it with each other. The Traveling freak show had started and The Crue take the stage with explosions going off and they break into "Shout at the Devil" The Garden goes nuts and we are off to a wild night.

They then go right into "2 Fast for Love".The background on the stage was made out of circus tent material .They then go into "10 Seconds to Love" Vince has lost a lot of weight and is running all over the stage. His voice sound super clear and powerful. The 3 stripers take the stage and start strutting all over. Between songs Nikki reminds the crowd that NYC has always been their favorite place to play. They then break into "Red Hot" and then into "2 Young to fall in Love" Motley's sound is dialed in and it sounds great. They seem to be playing their hits alittle heavier.Vince's voice sounds incredible he is a little louder than the rest of the band and the sound mixing is perfect.They go into "Looks that Kill" then "Louder than Hell and then into "Live Wire" They then take a 10 minute intermission.When they return the midget pulls on stage on a chopper. The crowd was laughing and a minute later all 4 members ride on stage on there choppers.They break into"Girls, Girls, Girls" the stripers again appear but this time they are suspended from the the stage ceiling and start grinding away in mid air.The band then goes into "Wild Side" then into "Don't go away mad" They then go into "Scream and Shout"and then they play "With out you". Next they start playing "Home Sweet Home" the Garden sings the whole first verse and only stop when Tommy stops playing and says over the mike that it was Fucking awesome and he could not believe it was happening. Then Vince finally starts singing and you could tell the whole band was blown away.

Next Nikki comes out on stage with a grinder in his hand then a striper with a metal bra appears and he start grinding on her tits he is also wearing metal gear and the stripper returns the favor until sparks are almost totally covering him.Tommy Lee the starts a drum solo the stripers reappear and start grinding on him. He then starts running all over the stage then attaches a cable that bring him to drum sets on the stage ceiling, that right ceiling. After that the band reappears and they go into"Same old Situation" Vince then screams over the mike Tommy your the only single guy here get out here and Tommy comes down from behind the drum set and Vince throws him a video camera. Tommy starts screaming over the mike show me your fucking tits and starts running all over the stage filming all the tits that are being show. You could tell this was the highlight of his night. He then goes back to the drums and Nikki yells wait a minute Tommy they showed you theres now you show them yours it ain't like any of them haven't seen your movie. Tommy then whips out his dick and start flinging it all around. The women and the crowd goes crazy. I am shocked that he wasn't arrested right then.They then play "Doctor feel Good" its know 2 hrs into there set so we start to make are way out of the Garden. Yes we skipped the encore but we wanted to catch the earlier train and not be stuck in the city with that crowd.

From a 1 to 10 I give this show a 10. It was fucking wild and Motley Crue sounded awesome. Then you throw in the strippers and all the tits that were flashed and it will probably be the best show of 2005. Yes I didn't want to see Tommy Lee's Dick but it did put a smile on my wife's face.
