I received this press kit in the mail today , when I opened it I was a little surprised. What I found was a cd from a brilliant young man J.Armen. I popped it in and was surprised by the blend of Folk, Latin Jazz with a blues mix. I usually listen to music a lot harder than this cd. This artist has got class so I cleaned up my language for this review. It was difficult for me to review this cd so I sat down and listened to it twice. While reading J's bio I found out he was born into the music business, and it sure shows listening to this cd. I also checked out J's web site www.jarmen.net Besides being a great musician I found out that J Armen is also one hell of a painter. His art was very nicely done. Back to the cd review... it seems J. spared no expense will making this cd. The packaging was near perfect. The songs on this cd are pleasant to the ear. This cd is perfect to listen to when you having a bad day. You won't be pissed off any more after listening to it. I got to the track titled "The Epic" and was like "man this guy is good. " Bottom Line J. seems to have it all in the solo artist music business, from writing to singing and performing this guy doesn't miss a beat. He is sure to make it to the Big time if he hasn't already. From 1 to 10 the cd is a perfect 10. Brilliantly done J.!

Again I listen to hard core rock music it was difficult for me to give J a perfect 10. But when someone has a much talent as he does you'd have to be deaf to give him anything else! Christmas is around the corner this cd would be a great gift to give you parents.
