Cream @ Madison Square Garden - NYC 10/24/05

Cream with the original line-up Eric Clapton - guitar, vocals ,Jack Bruce - bass, vocals,Ginger Baker - drums, vocals have opened up their 3 day stint @ MSG.It was Fucking poring out so I came right into Penn. Station and went right up into the Garden. I like to always walk around for a while before a show there but that didn't happen tonight. The trains were running late because of the weather and it work out perfectly for me and my wife.We no sooner got to our seats and the show started. Cream came on at 8:35pm to an exploding sold out MSG crowd. As soon as they came on it was like a Cheech & Chong movie set in the Garden. I didn't smoke for tonight show but I got high as Fuck just sitting there breathing!!!The crowd was mostly older but what the fuck this is a Cream concert .Creams sound was pretty tight and Clapton was on fire as usual on the Guitar. I have seen Clapton a shit load of time before and I can honestly say his live solo tours were much better than this Cream set. Jack Bruce just didn't seem to have it going on. He is old and I respect their music but tonight show wasn't as good as I was hoping. In their defense they haven't played tougher in like over 30 years so with that in mind it was a good show. It did Rock and everyone in the Garden had a great time that's for sure. These guys are living Fucking legends so I ain 't about to talk shit about what I thought this show needed. I did see people buying Cream autographed poster for $60 a piece. I looked at the signature it looked like they signed one copy and then reproduced the set. I laughed at the amount of people buy these posters up. Somebody make a shit load of dough that's for sure.

From a 1 to 10 I give this show a 7. It was good but that's about it!!!!
