CD Review - All At Random - Self Titled EP, 7/16/03

Let me first start this CD review telling you that I am a manager for a hard-core rock band. I am use to hearing music a lot heavier than this. All right then, I sat down and listened to the self-titled CD "All At Random." My first thoughts were the vocals were a little weak for a punk rock band. I continued listening to a couple more songs and I was wrong, their sound is unique. The vocals are different than such punk bands as the one and only, Murphy's Law and The Misfits; "we have played with both these acts" Also their musicianship is solid. This band has a tight sound and it seems these guys have been playing together for a while. All At Random will do well in this business. There sound is different than most punk bands out there. It is good to see another Jersey band that will make a difference! There are so many good bands from Jersey that don't even get a fair chance. Good luck boys you'll do FINE! This CD was a little different to me but I enjoyed it.

From a 1 to 10 I give this CD a 7. A 5 is average and these guys are well beyond average.
